Burbank Water and Power has begun construction on a new reservoir that will replace the existing facility. Both stronger and larger in volume, the new reservoir will occupy the current reservoir’s footprint.

The majority of the work will occur behind the earthen slope that runs parallel to Sunset Canyon Road, between Magnolia Boulevard and San Jose Avenue. Construction is expected to last approximately 18 months.
